The Chairman, Steve and Treasurer, Luch would like to remind you how fortunate you are to have such an eager, bright, good looking, smart, giving, intelligent, shrewd, understanding, frugal and vice driven executive.
Our 2010 Summer Solstice extravaganza, the 23rd annual, once again in Lake Placid is quickly approaching. Thank you to those that have signed up and paid; may darkness fall on those who haven't--and the ex-patriots (you know who you are).
Ryder Cup rules will apply again on Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday is regular play. This will be the third ever SOLSTICE RIDER (sic) CUP. The team captains are Brian "Mr. Golf" Smyth for Team Blue and Mike "Bonyuk" Herioriak for Team Red. Match-ups for Wednesday's Rider Cup round will be announced Tuesday evening, June 22, at the Solstice.
Soon, there will be links of new committee chair positions and expectations. It is in your interest, and your fellow Solsticians' interest to check here regularly because you never know when you will be called upon and bestowed with such an honor as a chairmanship--with that of course comes responsibilities that all of us benefit from.
Remember, all opinions will be heard but in all likelihood ignored. After all, you have the right to be told what to do.
